Job Description:
Assists the Shellfish Biologist with general and technical work in matters relating to shellfishery in the town, primarily the propagation and maintenance of nursery systems and habitats; all other related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in environmental science, marine biology, shellfish aquaculture or equivalent necessary; and more than two years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification as a First Responder and in CPR required. MA drivers license required. Must be able to swim. Certification as a Scuba Diver desirable.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in the field of shellfish propagation and management. Knowledge of operation and trailering of small boats.
Computer skills preferred.
$2,128.92 biweekly + benefits.
