Seasonal (SEAS) Position
Job Description
An individual who is responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in a recreational activity. The Recreation Assistant will instruct activities in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Recreation Division.
Recreation Assistants will lead flag football drills, help participants improve their skills, and manage a team during the season. Session plans will be provided and supervised by the Program Coordinator.
Program Dates and Locations
6th & 7th grade program: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30pm-4:30pm, September 23-October 30, 2025 at Barnstable Intermediate School.
4th and 5th grade program: Wednesdays and Fridays, 2:30pm-4:30pm, September 24-November 6, 2025 at Barnstable United Elementary School.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working with kids.
Strong knowledge of flag football. Preference will go to applicants with experience coaching/playing flag football.
