Seasonal (SEAS) position

Job Description:

Assist the Senior Project Manager with inspection of construction projects to ensure work is effectively and efficiently executed and completed in compliance with contractual, federal and state aviation requirements and that the Airport receives very good, quality work according to the scope of services, design plans and associated contracts. The positional will involve administrative clerical duties.

Examples of Duties/Responsibilities

Assists in project management and documentation of multiple airfield projects. Work on airfield project updates and tracking of project communications.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.

You are attending and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering.

You are available for approximately 15-18 continuous weeks for the internship. Dates may fall between May and September. Monday – Friday.

Additional Qualifications

We are seeking students who are currently enrolled in courses for project/construction management, civil or mechanical engineering and those that meet the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in project/construction management, Civil and Mechanical Engineering

Minimum GPA: Cumulative 3.0/Major 3.0-4.0 scale

A track record of outstanding academic performance

Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing airport operations, design and construction is a plus.

Ability to work in the airport environment and understand and carry out instructions.

Ability to understand and enforce project Construction Safety and Phasing Plans (CSPP).

$18.25 hourly, no benefits.
