SEAS Recreation Assistant - Youth Fire Academy

Seasonal (SEAS) position

An individual who is responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in a recreational activity. The Recreation Assistant will instruct activities in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Recreation Division.

Youth Fire Academy Recreation Assistants will:

Assist with the supervision of program activities.
Manage participants' well-being during the day. Includes making sure participants stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, and more.
Engage participants during activities, in between activities, and during meal times
Handle any necessary disciplinary actions.

Program Dates

Monday, July 15 - Friday, July 19, 2024, 8:00am - 4:00pm at the Hyannis Fire Department's Station

Minimum Qualifications

Experience supervising activities.

Experience working with kids.

$15.00 hourly, no benefits.
