Seasonal (SEAS) Position

Job Description:

Responsible for oversight and supervision for the areas within the Hyannis Youth and Community Center including but not limited to the gymnasium, game room, walking track, skating rinks, lobby, common areas and meeting spaces. Assists with the daily operations of the facility. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures set by the HYCC management. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to seasonal personnel management and financial accountability for daily sales.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED (must be obtained within 3 months of employment).

Minimum Requirements: Completion of junior year of high school and/or at least 17 years of age.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, regulations and operations of the Hyannis Youth and Community Center.

Ability to deal with the public tactfully and patiently. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Town employees. Ability to handle multiple and varied tasks.

Good communication skills and ability to deal with the public in a professional manner.
